The Bank Holiday Monday match at Droyslden, not only marked the first win of the season for the Spartans, but also saw the first goal of the season from Paul Brayson in what was has 50th game for the club.
Signed from Durham City just over one year ago, Paul has been a constant source of goals for Blyth since his arrival, scoring an incredible 35 times to secure, not only the club’s leading scorer title, but also the title of the Blue Square North’s leading marksman last season.
