Holmes returns to the Robins

The club can confirm that winger Dean Holmes has returned to former club North Shields. Holmes, 21, joined the Spartans over the summer from Graham Fenton’s side, but has had an unlucky run with injuries since his arrival at Croft Park. The club would like to thank Dean for his efforts in a green and white shirt and wish him all the best at North Shields.

Scott Bell funeral details released

The details of Scott Bell’s funeral have been released via the Scott Bell Fund website. “Scott’s funeral will be taking place at Cowpen Crematorium on Thursday 17th October at 10am. All are welcome. No flowers please except for family, a box will be in place at the service for donations to the MNDA. Nolan signs for Whitley Bay

The club can confirm that the contract of Rob Nolan has been cancelled and the striker has signed for Whitley Bay.
