PAUL BRAYSON – NOVEMBER 2009 The month of November saw Paul Brayson come into his own with some clinical finishing that has seen the former Northwich Victoria man move to the top of the Spartans scoring charts ahead of the injured Robert Dale. Alex Francis signs on loan

Blyth Spartans can announce the loan signing of Gateshead midfielder / defender Alex Francis. The 19 year old, who was part of Mick Tait’s college team last season, will be at the Spartans until the 31 December 2009. Part of the agreement with Gateshead is that Francis will be unable to take any part in our FA Trophy campaign.

The club can announce that it has signed Goalkeeper Sam Grieveson on Blue Square North forms for this season. The 17 year old, who was recently released by Norwich City, has been on trial at Newcastle United before joining up with us.
