Saturday’s Vanarama National League North fixture away at Bishop’s Stortford has been confirmed for a 1pm kick-off.
It is as of fulfilment to the reciprocal agreement in place which enabled our opponents to have an overnight stay earlier in the season before taking on Spartans at Croft Park.
This, in turn, with thanks and appreciation directed towards a supporter of the Club who has funded this weekend’s overnight stay for Jon Shaw’s side, will allow Spartans to prepare in the best possible fashion prior to the clash.
The supporter, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “I have supported The Spartans for over 60 years, it’s my way of helping the players and thanking them for their commitment.”
All at the Club are immensely grateful to the supporter and thank him so much for his support in this way.
This now means that the money being currently raised by our supporters, through the Crowd Funder, can be directed to an overnight stay at Gloucester or Hereford. Again, this will help the team prepare for the game ahead of them professionally, helping them build on our positive results.
