Alex Francis signs on loan

Blyth Spartans can announce the loan signing of Gateshead midfielder / defender Alex Francis. The 19 year old, who was part of Mick Tait’s college team last season, will be at the Spartans until the 31 December 2009. Part of the agreement with Gateshead is that Francis will be unable to take any part in our FA Trophy campaign.

Blyth Spartans can confirm that the Northumberland Senior Cup Tie against Morpeth will be held on Tuesday the 24th of November at Croft Park kick off 7.30 PM. Admission prices for the match will be £5 full and £2 concessions

Possible Loan Signing / Rob Dale Update

Blyth Spartans are hoping to register a short term loan agreement with Darlington FC for centre half Rikki Bains. If all the necessary paperwork checks out today then Rikki will be in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Solihull Moors. Meanwhile the club are happy to report that Robert Dale’s operation has been completed successfully and his 4-week recuperation/training programme has begun.
