As no doubt everyone noticed the replacement linesman Colin Blackett yesterday in the Solihull Moors match was wearing his shorts inside out, this was due to the shorts being the VIZ sponsored shorts worn by the first team and it was felt would be inappropriate for an assistant referee to wear ‘sponsored’ shorts*, hence the reason they were worn inside out.
When asked about after the game Colin stated that he “wished he’d a pound for everyone who had mentioned it to him”
