There was a very special guest at Croft Park for Saturday’s game against AFC Fylde as season ticket holder Callum Brown made his return from a life changing operation in St Louis.
Callum had actually caught everyone by surprise by attending the Doodson Sports Cup fixture against North Ferriby United last Tuesday, despite only returning from the United States a few days earlier.
To mark his return Callum’s favourite Spartans player Phil Airey presented him with a card that had been designed and made by matchday steward Alan Courtney and was signed by the players and management.
