Arrivals | Spartans sign Chesterfield duo on loan

Blyth Spartans AFC is pleased to announce the loan signings of Jamie Sharman and Jack McKay from National League side Chesterfield.  Sharman, a central defender, joins for the remainder of the season having previously spent time on loan at Kidderminster Harriers during 2019/20.  The 19-year-old progressed through The Spireites’ academy and signed his first professional contract during the 2018/19 season after winning the Academy Player of the Year award.  Sharman…

Club Statement | Gateshead fixture postponed

Our National League North fixture at Gateshead has been postponed following a positive Covid-19 test at the club.  Blyth Spartans management, players and backroom staff will now enter a period of self isolation.  Our National League North fixture with Alfreton Town at Croft Park on Saturday, January 9th, is scheduled to go ahead as planned.  We wish the individual a speedy recovery.
