The draw has been made for the Third Round of the Doodson Sports Cup and Spartans have been handed an away tie at Evo-Stik Northern Premier League rivals Stocksbridge Park Steels. Spartans have already travelled to the Look Local Stadium this season in early September, winning 3-2 thanks to goals from Robbie Dale and a brace from former striker Craig Farrell.
The tie will take place on Tuesday 8th January, although some other ties in the round are scheduled for other dates over a two week period.
