Blyth can announce the registration of central defender Darryll Donnelly and attacker Daniel Maguire.
Donnelly, 22, is a centre half who has played for Whitley Bay and Seaham Red Star. Whilst Maguire, 19, is a midfielder or forward joins us from Seaton Delaval.
Manager Tommy Cassidy commented “These are both young lads, who have come to my attention so we are going to have a look at them both over the next few weeks in training.”
“I’m not expecting either to breaking into the first team on a consistent basis immediately, but getting the two lads involved and mixing in with the squad at training will hopefully bring them on as players and we’ll see how it goes.”
Both players would be available for selection in tomorrow’s FA Trophy game away at Witton Albion, but obviously neither would be able to play in Monday night’s replay at Workington (having signed after the initial tie between the two sides.)
Welcome to the club lads!
