To conclude a successful season for Tom Wade’s new look Spartans side Supporters Club Chairman Iain Charlesworth has urged members of the Green Army to come along to the club’s Presentation Tonight, hosted at The Clubhouse from 7:00pm.
A vast array of awards will be presented to members of the Blyth squad tonight including the Player of the Year awards, Top Goalscorer, an inaugural Media Team Goal of the Season and the much coveted Player’s Player of the Year.
In addition, there will be a number of merit awards presented by the club to show its appreciation of the efforts of volunteers over the past season.
Reflecting on the campaign Charlesworth said: “I think what Tom and the team have achieved this season is fantastic. From the hard work and determination shown by the squad, to the time and effort obviously displayed by the coaching staff as well as the care from the physio team has been outstanding. I only hope we can keep this team together for 2014/2015. With a few additions to further bolster the squad we could really see what Blyth Spartans can do.”
As is custom, the SC Player of the Year award was presented to the winner, Daniel Maguire, before the club’s last home game of the season and will be presented again tonight. “Dan has been fantastic all season so it makes sense that he was voted by the fans as the Player of the Season.” Iain said.
He continued: “I’d encourage fans to come along tonight.”
The SC’s end of season clearance sale continues on the online store. In addition to new lines being introduced in the forms of both the “Club Range” and “Green Army” there is a large list of new products that will be introduced over the coming months.
