Thursday 27th November sees Croft Park hosting a ‘Supporters Night’ and it’s looking like it’s going to be an evening full of excitement for the Green Army.

The night has been scheduled to allow the players and coaching staff to show their appreciation to the Spartans faithful for their immense support throughout the season and to look ahead to the FA Cup Second Round tie at Hartlepool United on 5th December.

A special guest will be at Croft Park prior to an open training session. Between 5 and 6.30pm the FA Cup will make an appearance at the home of the Spartans and it is hoped that there will be opportunities for supporters to get their photos taken with the famous old trophy.

The Clubhouse doors open at 7pm for the Open Forum and the night will get underway at 7.30pm with a quiz based around the cup run so far and the club’s prestigious history in the competition. Quantum Elite have donated the prize for the winner and that is a Spartans training top which proudly features the logo of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

At 8pm the opening part of the forum will take place with management team Tom Wade and Colin Myers taking questions from those in attendance and giving their thoughts on the season so far and what is still to come.

The second half of the forum sees four players taking centre stage as they take over from Wade and Myers to face the Green Army.

The Spartans playing staff have paid for a buffet as a way of thanking the supporters and this is scheduled to open at 9pm. During this time there will be a collection for donations towards Wade’s Movember fundraising efforts.

At the same time a prize raffle will take place and again the prize has been donated by Quantum Elite. Spartans supporters can get their hands on one of the exclusive training shirts that are sponsored by Quantum Elite and also feature the logo of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

However there will be an even bigger prize up for grabs as Quantum Elite have also donated two match tickets for next Friday’s FA Cup Second Round tie at Hartlepool United.

The players and coaching staff will be on hand to chat to supporters and get photos for around an hour with the event finishing at around 10pm after some closing thoughts from manager Tom Wade.

Quantum Elite’s Lissa Delf revealed their pleasure at being able to help put on such a night saying “We are proud to be associated with The Supporters Evening, the Green Army are the backbone of Blyth Spartans who stand tall because of their fans”
