Blyth Spartans are in action this Tuesday evening, travelling to Woodhorn Lane to take on Steve Harmison’s Ashington.
The hosts are unbeaten in pre-season thus far, following up a 1-0 win over Newbiggin with a 2-0 victory against Durham City last Tuesday. The Colliers boast such talent as Craig Scott, the centre-half re-signing ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, as well as former Dunston UTS talisman Andrew Bulford in attack. Spartans can expect a stern test from the Northern League outfit, who finished 12th in Division One last term.
Kick-off will be at 7.30pm.
