Blyth Spartans have parted company with striker Richard Offiong.
Spartans’ manager Steve Cuggy said: “I have four forwards at the club now and I can’t guarantee Richard a game. Jamie Mole is a class act and Graeme Armstrong is a proven striker, then we have Glen Taylor coming on well. Richard needs matches under his belt. His attitude has been good and he showed a lot of restraint following the recent alleged racial abuse issue. Losing a striker means I can look to strengthen other areas of the squad.
“Richard leaves us on amicable terms and he will continue to train with the team so we haven’t burned all our bridges”.
