The club have received a squad listing from Hartlepool United for Wednesday’s pre-season friendly (kick off 7pm). The game has been advertised as a Hartlepool United XI as often the squad sent by a League side is made up of trialists and junior players and therefore the club would, quite rightly, not wish to be seen to be misleading supporters as to what they will see at the game.
Having said that, the squad which has been forwarded to us by Hartlepool United for next wednesday’s clash is as follows: –

This means that that is the possibility of seeing former Newcastle United and Peru legend Nobby Solano (pictured left, below) appearing at Croft Park. The game could also feature SpartansFan James Brown (pictured right, below), who was a regular attendee of Spartans matches, both home and away, as a teenager.
Please note that the above is obviously subject to change, especially as Hartlepool are playing Barnsley the night before at Victoria Park, but this is the squad list that has been issued to the club.
