The club are delighted to announce that Chartered Accountant and Spartans fan Alan McLean has extended his sponsorship of the club’s online match reports into a second season.
That means that Alan’s company name and logo will appear at the top of every match report from Spartans fixtures in all league, cup and pre-season friendlies throughout the 2013/14 season.
Alan commented “I am very pleased to be able to renew my sponsorship of the match reports. As one of the many exiles who support Blyth Spartans it is particularly important that we have high quality match reports that give everyone a real feel for how each match has gone.
Some of last year’s reports did not make good reading as we suffered some poor results so I am looking forward to much more enjoyable reports during the coming season.”
Spartans Press Officer Mark Carruthers said “While last season may have been inconsistent on the pitch it was great to see the media team win some acclaim for their work and having Alan continuing to back us by sponsoring our match reports is a big boost.
I can only echo his comments that hopefully the reports will make for kinder reading and writing for that matter during the new season.”
