Updates:
FULL TIME: Stamford 1-1 Blyth Spartans – A point for Spartans that the hosts will be more grateful for. Tom Wade’s side created chances but couldn’t get the winner.

89: A quick free kick on the left see Mullen play it to Dale but as he cut in on his right foot he sends it over the bar

86: Spartans sub Mullen on for Rivers

77: Stamford sub Myles on for Shariff

75: Hooks collects a pass twenty five yards out and unleashes a right foot drive that is saved well by Stevens

74: Wearmouth on for Hutchinson

68: Jordan Watson booked for a foul on Robbins, the Stamford winger reacts but the referee deems a talking to is sufficient

65: A loose ball on the edge of the Stamford area falls to Hutchinson but he fires over the bar from twenty yards

62: Sub for the hosts as Nwadike is on for McGowan who pulled up with what looks like a hamstring injury

59: Spartans sub Hooks on for Wade

58: Close for Maguire as a whipped free kick from Dale on the right finds the head of the striker but he sends it over

54: Stamford sub Lawlor for Cotton

48: Again Dale and Rivers link up as a backheel plays the latter into the area but his low drive is saved well by Stevens

Second half gets underway as Robbie Dale and Dan Hawkins stand over the ball. An impressive band of the travelling Green Army will hope their side can continue to make chances and hopefully take one or two

HALF TIME: Stamford AFC 1-1 Spartans – A lacklustre start for Spartans was punished by Robbins goal but to their credit they dominated the half and chances from then on. Rivers a constant menace and deserves his goal but chances for Maguire and Buddle almost give Spartans the lead at the interval

42: Another great chance and this time Maguire should do better as Dale plays him into the right hand side of the area but he fires across goal and harmlessly wide

35: Spartans on top here and Maguire forces Stevens into a tremendous stop after Hawkins plays him in. From the resultant corner Buddle rises highest but Fox clears off the line.

28: GOAL SPARTANS It’s an equaliser for Spartans as Jarrett Rivers celebrates his new contract by latching on to a Dale flick and firing home via a deflection his initial shot was blocked by Carr SAFC 1-1 BSAFC

22: Chance for Spartans to equalise as Dale flicks on to Rivers. The winger flicks over Fox before volleying over the bar from the angle

15: GOAL The home side take the lead as Jordan Smith is played in on goal and rolls past Jeffries. That leaves Ryan Robbins with an empty net to tap into from inside the six yard box SAFC 1-0 BSAFC

9: First chance and it falls to Spartans. Ian Watson crosses from the left into Robbie Dale, he holds off Richard Jones before spinning and firing wide from twelve yards. Good effort but just past the far post

The teams are out here at an overcast Daniels Stadium with Spartans in the famous green and white. The home side will get us underway

Team News: Neal Hooks is on the bench today as he is carrying a slight hamtring injury and alongside him for the first time is defender Joel Dixon after completing a move to Spartans during the week. Matthew Wade returns after injury in midfield alongside Ryan Hutchinson and Dan Hawkins.
