The March edition of the official Blyth Spartans podcast will be available to download from the club’s Soundcloud account from 9pm tonight. Produced in association with Radio Northumberland the show will once again be hosted by the station’s Head of Sport Jonny Hall and our own Press Officer Mark Carruthers and there is yet another packed programme in store.

Following last week’s appointment of Tom Wade into the Croft Park hot seat the new Spartans manager will give an exclusive interview on how much taking over his boyhood club means to him and how he sees the rest of the season panning out.

General Manager Ian Evans gives a frank and honest interview about his views on the club’s performance on and off the park, discusses issues regarding the future of the club and his thoughts on what Wade will bring to the club in his new role.

Programme Editor Glen Maxwell discusses his time in that role after last week’s announcement that he will take up a new position at the club from next season and gives his thoughts on recent events at the club.

This month’s “From the Terraces” sees Spartans supporter Graham Usher give his opinion on all things Spartans related and discusses his own “Blyth Spirit” blog and you can also hear Radio Northumberland goal highlights from the home fixtures against Ashton United, North Ferriby United and Saturday’s thrilling 3-2 win over Ilkeston.
