The first ever Blyth Spartans AFC Official Podcast is now available for download. The show has been produced in association with Radio Northumberland and is hosted by the station’s Head of Sport Jonny Hall and Spartans Press Officer Mark Carruthers.

On the podcast you can hear an exclusive interview with Spartans Chairman Tony Platten as he gives his opinion on performances on and off the pitch, attendances at Croft Park and in non-league in general and the future of the club.

Spartans Assistant Manager Tom Wade also gives a frank and honest interview regarding the inconsistancy of his side this season and just how important the Croft Park crowd are to the club.

In the first of our “From the Terraces” feature Spartans fan Scott Dewhurst talks about his feelings on the season so far and which players have impressed him so far.

Finally Mark and Jonny will discuss what Radio Northumberland intend to bring to Spartans with their coverage over the coming eighteen months and where the station is at in terms of their FM license application.

We would welcome all feedback on the podcast and invite any suggestions or ideas and you can do so by emailing Mark and Jonny at BSAFCpodcast@gmail.com and follow Spartans on Sound Cloud by clicking here.
