In just over three hours Spartans find out who will provide their opposition in the FA Cup First Round proper. In the draw are former FA Cup winners like Portsmouth and Coventry City as well as former Premier League clubs Sheffield United, Oldham Athletic and Barnsley.
Former FA Cup opponents Shrewsbury Town, Preston North End and Bury are also in the pot.
There is local interest coming in from the Football League as Hartlepool United enter the competition. Other North East clubs in the draw are Gateshead, Spennymoor Town and Shildon, although the latter pair face tough replays next week to seal their place in the First Round.
