Blyth Spartans’ midfielder Mark Doninger is continuing to rack up the miles in search of a full time contract, as he has headed over to Ireland for a week long trial with Sligo Rovers.
The former Newcastle United reserve team captain has so far had trials with Derby County, Hartlepool United and Burton Albion and has reported press interest from League Two side Grimsby Town.
