Robbie Dale had a memorable day against Birmingham City in the FA Cup Third Round defeat against the Championship outfit. Not only did he score a brace but he was also immortalised with his own personalised Subbuteo figure, a unique feat if ever there was one for a Spartans player.

Well the good news carries on for Robbie as his second goal of the game has been nominated for the BBC Match of the Day Goal of the Third Round.

His remarkable solo effort saw him ghost past four City defenders before coolly rolling the ball into the far corner and is up against some tough competition.

To vote for Robbie’s stunning goal you must be on Twitter and send a new tweet to @BBCMOTD using the #BBCDale hashtag.
