The Club has received the following update on the unfortunate injury to Chris in Saturday’s match –
“Chris was operated on yesterday morning (Sunday) and has had a pin and a small plate inserted above his ankle. He will be released from North Tyneside hospital (ward 5) this coming Wednesday. The surgeons are confident that a full recovery will be made but unfortunately Chris will not be kicking a football until pre season 2010/11. I am sure that you will all join the board in wishing “Tadge” a speedy and healthy recovery.”
