Brackstone joins the Terriers

The club can confirm that left back John Brackstone has joined Northern League side Bedlington Terriers. Brackstone, 25, was signed by then manager Harry Dunn from Gateshead to fill the troublesome left back position and went onto make 50 appearances for the Spartans over two seasons. Funds Raised at Sportsman’s Dinner

Blyth Spartans would like to thank all the attendees at Friday’s annual sportsman’s dinner, which once again was a very enjoyable evening for all. Thanks to Chris Lowther, Fergus Dowd and Dan Rolls for their contributions to the auction items which raised £945 for the family of former player Anthony Lowther and £100 for the RNLI.
