TEAM NEWS
It’s back to the league for Spartans after Friday night’s time in the limelight and last night’s cup draw with the visit of Trafford. The Manchester based team is currently sat 23rd in the league, only 4 points off Spartans, who currently sit 20th but with a dozen games in hand on the surrounding opponents. A win for Blyth could see them move up to 18th.

No injuries were picked up from the Hartlepool tie so Tom Wade will have another full squad to pick from. He may decide to rest a couple of faces with the likes of Danny Parker and Neal Hooks on the bench and eager for some game time. Cup hero Jarrett Rivers will be hoping he can continue the cup success in the league as Blyth hope to take advantage of the games in hand.
