TEAM NEWS
Saturday saw Spartans return to league football with a trip to Barwell. Unfortunately a 2-1 loss was the outcome but Tom Wade will be raring to go come Tuesday night as what has been a lengthy period of time sees Blyth face opposition on home ground. And they arrive as top of the league side Skelmersdale United. With Spartans already having played Skem twice this season already, once in the league and the large victory in the FA Cup, another exciting tie is awaiting both sides.

Robbie Dale scored a penalty at Barwell on Saturday which saw him net his 6th goal in the last 5 games and he will be hoping to continue his great run as the Spartans’ captain. Jonathyn Quinn, Joel Dixon and Samuel Perez will make their home league debuts if they appear for Spartans. Stephen Turnbull is unavailable.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT
Tommy Lawson – Been in charge of the club since June 2006

DANGER MAN
Danny Mitchley – Skem’s top goalscorer with 6 goals in all competitions.
