Blyth Spartans can announce that striker Callum Hassan has joined the club.
The 6 foot 4 front man played against Blyth for Hartlepool United, Harrogate Town and Whitby Town last season, scoring in the Hartlepool and Harrogate games (see below).
The 19-year-old featured in the Hartlepool United first team once and has been with, Blyth’s opponents in Saturday’s FA Cup clash, Workington since the start of this season.
Manager Tommy Cassidy commented “I had Callum at Whitby with me last season and I am pleased he’s on board. He’s a big, strong lad and has good pace, now that he’s registered we’ll be able to get a better look at him.”
Hassan is not cup-tied and is therefore eligible for Saturday’s clash at Croft Park (kick off 3pm)
