The U10s got off to a winning start in the league with a 6-3 win at Ashington. A hat-trick from Lewis Best, a brace from Lewis Parker and a first goal for Spartans from Rhys Common made sure of the points in this good all round team performance. John Paul Megson picked up the MoM award for a solid defensive performance and Matthew Giloney was awarded the Coach’s Player Award on his first full game in goal.
