2023/24 Vanarama National League North Fixture Release

We have learned the scheduling of our 2023/24 Vanarama National League North campaign.

An opening day matchup to take place at Croft Park on Saturday, 5 August, will kickstart the new season before Spartans will travel to newly-promoted Warrington Town the following weekend for the first away game of the campaign.

Clashes against fellow North East sides Spennymoor Town and Darlington are scheduled for the following dates:

Monday 28th August 2023 – Spennymoor Town – Home

Tuesday 24th October 2023 – Darlington – Away

Saturday 17th February 2024 – Spennymoor Town – Away

Tuesday 12th March 2024 – Darlington – Home

A festive doubleheader will commence on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day against local rivals South Shields, who have made the jump up to the division following their Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division triumph last season. Spartans will first make the trip to 1st Cloud Arena before hosting the Mariners to kick off 2024.

Clubs have been reminded that Vanarama National League fixtures have been scheduled for Monday, 1 January 2024. However, Clubs are permitted to move fixtures on that day to Saturday, 30 December 2023, should both teams agree to the rearrangement.

Spartans’ final away game of the season will be a trip to Glanford Park to face off against Scunthorpe United on Saturday, 13 April, before Brackley Town will visit Croft Park the following weekend on the final day of the season.
