Blyth Spartans held the official kit launch at Croft Park yesterday as Rio Joisce and Harrison Clark were on hand to model the fresh threads.
Alan Conway, Brand Executive of main Club and shirt sponsors TEXO came over to view the new kit first hand.
Alan commented on the on the unique and professional look of the shirts, with the embedded Spartans logo in the stripes of the home kit and the striking “Northumberland Flag design” of the away kit.
He said: “I was also impressed to see the work that the Supporters Club had done in packing and dispatching orders, there were over 200 tops ready for dispatch some going abroad to countries as far as China, New Zealand, U.S.A. etc. and the thought that the Blyth Spartans and TEXO will be represented in so many places around the world.”
Alan, as part of his remit at TEXO, also covers social support and STEM activities within the local community and schools near their sites in Blyth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Witham and Northampton.
TEXO see this as a vital and important social governance responsibility of the company and importantly being an integral part of the community.
TEXO, who primarily operate in multiple sectors both on and offshore have seen significant growth in renewables, this has also helped grow the business over the past few years.
Blyth Spartans hugely appreciate the support, sponsorship and relationship held with TEXO and look forward to the continued representation and partnership in the 2023/24 season ahead.
