Following the under-19s’ success in winning the National League Youth Alliance North Academy Division last season, the Club was dealt a blow in the close season when their coach, Liviu Cristea, had to resign from his position with the Club.

Spartans’ under-18s coach Marc Nash spoke with Blyth Live’s Niall Bromley as they discussed the Club’s succcessful partnership with Tyne Metropolitan College. Nash, who is Head Football Coach at Tyne Met, oversaw a training match between the under-18s and under-19s on Monday night as Spartans looked to shape their youth squads ahead of next season.
