Assistant manager Graeme Coulson spoke to Blyth Live’s Niall Bromley following Tuesday’s derby defeat to Gateshead. The Heed ran out 3-0 winners, with former-Spartan Macauley Langstaff putting the hosts ahead 10 minutes in, before second-half goals from Adam Campbell and Taylor Charters capped a miserable night for Spartans, who also lost Rhys Evans and Michael Liddle to injury.
