Blyth Spartans are delighted to announce that Sean Reid has been awarded with the Port of Blyth Player of the Month award for August. The 24-year-old has started the season in fine form, finding the net in three of Spartans’ opening six Evo-Stik Premier League so far. Reid will be presented with the award prior to Spartans’ league meeting with Sutton Coldfield next Saturday.

Blyth To Face Frickley In Emirates FA Cup

Blyth Spartans have been drawn at home to fellow Evo-Stik Premier Division side Frickley Athletic in the first qualifying round of this season’s Emirates FA Cup. Spartans will welcome Frickley to Croft Park on Saturday September 3 – as Blyth begin another season in a competition that is synonymous with the club.
