CHRIS McCABE – NOVEMBER 2008
This month’s star performer is midfielder Chris McCabe, whilst not appearing in all of the games, he showed his importance to the side with three stunning cup displays.
He played through partially healed broken ribs to put in a fine showing against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup, produced a ‘Star Man’ performance in the FA Trophy defeat to Alfreton Town (where Tadge bagged a brace) and then topped off the month by putting an all action display against ex-England International Darren Anderton in the televised clash with AFC Bournemouth (is it a coincidence that Anderton has retired before facing up to Tadge again?).
His average mark for the month was an impressive 8.67/10. (The players in joint second were Robert Dale and Andrew Leeson).
