Spartans vs FC United of Manchester Programme Preview

It’s eighth against ninth in the Evo-Stik Premier Division tonight as FC United of Manchester make the trip to Croft Park.

United are below Spartans in the league but are yet to lose, and are seeking their second win of the campaign tonight as they take on a Blyth side, on a high after their 2-1 win at Halesowen Town on Saturday.

Both clashes between the sides last season ended with United taking maximum points, so Spartans will be looking for revenge tonight.

Plenty of supporters from both sides are expected to go through the turnstiles, and all are encouraged to take a look at tonight’s packed programme.

As well as the usual features and columns, including Question Time, Malcolm Stephenson’s View From the Terrace, and everything you need to know about FC United of Manchester, there will be a number of extras you should be sure not to miss.

Martin Hunter talks about the decorated Spartans career of skipper Robbie Dale, following his 400th appearance for the club against Whitby Town two weeks ago.

Historian Ken Sproat takes us back to the ’40s and ’50s as he looks at ex-Manchester United and Spartans midfielder Billy McGlen, while Luke Bidwell fills us in with all the action from around the Evo-Stik this week.

Decorate your walls with Spartans’ 2014/15 Squad Photo and be sure to grab Ian Watson for his signature.

You can find this and much more in tonight’s programme, so don’t miss it! It will be available to buy from the usual places.
