TEAM NEWS
Just only two days ago, Spartans missed out on what could off been a chance to overtake Barwell in the league standings, but tonight we have another chance to do so with a trip to Ramsbottom United. Due to the major backlog of fixtures both sides are facing coming to the end of the season, games are having to be played midweek, such as tonight’s tie. Spartans will be looking to get those all very important three points after three consecutive draws have slowed down our movement up the league, but not ruled out catching the leading pack.

The link up play between Michael Richardson, Dan Maguire and Jarrett Rivers caused Barwell major issues through out Tuesday night’s game, Tom Wade will be looking for a similar performance from them to put Ramsbottom’s defence under heavy pressure. Also on Tuesday night The Rams picked up a good point against play off chasing Buxton, a result they will be taking into our game with high confidence.

OPPOSITION MANAGER
Jon Robinson – Ex Ramsbottom player, started the job on the turn of the year 2015.

DANGER MAN
Jamie Rother – goalscoring threat for The Rams.
