FA Cup Player of the Round Result

As reported on here last week, Blyth Spartans’ own Michael Tait was in running for the E.ON sponsored FA Cup Player of the Round for his hattrick exploits against Ossett Albion. Sadly Michael didn’t win, the honour going to Northwich Victoria’s Mark Danks. Unlucky Michael, you’ll just have to score a hattrick in the next round and try again!


FA Cup Update

Tonight saw a 2-2 draw between Hyde United and Salford City, this means that our proposed trip to Lancashire on Saturday for the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round has been postponed. We will post up details of our FA Cup game, once the opponents and date are known.
