The Football Corridor

The Spartans were represented at the official opening of ‘The Football Corridor’ at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle on Thursday. A permanent photo exhibition has been created featuring images of 17 football clubs from across the region. Annual General Meeting & Open Forum

The Club will hold it’s AGM at 7.30pm on Thursday 9th August in the Social Club. The AGM will be followed by an Open Forum at which the Executive Committee and Team Manager will be available to answer questions. Copies of the Clubs accounts will be available to shareholders from the General Office 9.30am – 12.00pm Monday to Friday after 21st July.

Season tickets for 2012/13 will be on sale from Monday the 9th of July from the main office weekdays 9am to 11am. Priced at 190.00 full and 95.00 concession, they will include once again free entry into the Port of Blyth stand. Graeme Armstrong signs for Whitby Town

It has been reported that centre forward Graeme Armstrong has signed for EvoStik Premier rivals Whitby Town. Blyth Spartans have appointed a new Match Reporter. 29 year old Mark Carruthers will take over from Andrew Dodds who had to relinquish the position due to work reasons. Mark works in Houghton-le-Spring and writes a number of blogs on Newcastle United and wider football issues.
