On behalf of Sheila, Hugo and all of Anth’s family and friends I would like to express our utmost gratitude for everything Blyth Spartans FC have done at this very sad time.
The minutes applause before Tuesdays game was a fitting tribute and we would like to thank every single person involved from the Executive committee down to every supporter that turned up and paid their respects.
The collection was very thoughtful and we would also like to thank everyone who contributed either by donating or organising.
Anth thought of his time at Blyth as the best of his non-league career and always loved the club, which as I said earlier made Tuesday such a fitting tribute.
