TEAM NEWS
Blyth look to extend their winning run away from home on Tuesday evening as they face United of Manchester at Broadhurst Park.
Spartans won the ultimate game of two halves on Saturday as they came away from AFC Telford with an impressive 3-2 victory. Blyth raced into a 3-0 lead at half time thanks to a Robbie Dale stunner, Dan Maguire’s tap in and a penalty from Dale Hopson. Telford hit back with strikes from Anthony Dwyer and Elliot Newby to make the finale tense.
United of Manchester fell to a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Leamington on Saturday. Callum Gittings and Colby Bishop had put the Brakes into the lead before Scott Kay pulled a goal back for United.
Blyth currently find themselves just outside of the playoff positions in 8th position. United of Manchester occupy 20th position with 7 points from their 8 games so far this season.
