TEAM NEWS
Blyth are away in Wales to face recently relegated Colwyn Bay, for the first time since 2012, the season which saw Spartans relegated for the club’s first ever time. The match ended 2-0 to the Green Army, a first win in 20 matches. Three years later, we find ourselves second in the league on goal difference in the Evo-Stik Premier Division and hoping to regain top spot with points on the road. One point would be enough to claim the top spot, unless Darlington pick up points against third placed Stourbridge.

Spartans will be looking to get back to winning ways after last Saturday’s home defeat to Sutton Coldfield. This weekend’s opposition have recently parted company with their manager and have ex manager Gus Williams in interim charge until a replacement is recruited. They are placed 18th in the table but recently picked up points against Skelmersdale United and Ilkeston.

DIRECTIONS

OPPOSITION MANAGER
Gus Williams – Interim manager as the club look to replace Ash Hoskins who left the club last week.

DANGER MAN
Lloyd Ellams – Ex Marine striker has just joined the Welsh club. He scored the two goals which kept Marine up on the last game of last season at Croft Park.
