The success of the TWO buses to the last game of the season (v Burscough) has shown that there is a growing interest in watching the Spartans play their away games. The supporters’ club are looking into running a couple of buses to Burscough on 25 April 2009 for the final league game of our 2008/2009 Blue Square North campaign. The Spartans moved out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 win over Stafford Rangers. Blyth trailed at half time 1-0, but Gary Brown equalised with a 35 yard rocket, then an own goal by Stuart Pierpoint give the Spartans another much needed win. Match report and reaction will follow soon.
