The booking Wayne Buchanan received in the Guiseley game on Tuesday, was the defenders 5th booking this season. As a result the central defender will have to sit out one game through suspension and, as things stand, will miss the fixture away to Workington on 26 December.
Blyth Spartans can announce that the loan deal for midfielder Robert Briggs is at an end and the player will return to his parent club Gateshead.
