With Wednesday’s Senior Cup game at Bedlington called off due to a waterlogged pitch, Spartans have had what could be a well needed rest as we get ready to entertain league football once again at Croft Park on Saturday with Rushall Olympic the visitors. Spartans will be without Airey and Lancaster on the weekend after the due were loaned out to Whitley Bay and Morpeth Town respectably.
Misiewicz is most likely to be back in goal after the Canadian U23 goalkeeper made a return last Saturday in our defeat at Buxton. Spartans will need to monitor the situation on Ash Davis whether he is eligible to play, after his sending off at Buxton. If that is the case, Wade may have to look in the direction of changing a few faces around to fit the possible gaps.
