TEAM NEWS
Blyth will be hoping they can continue their unbeaten run when they host Matlock Town on Saturday. Following the last minute equaliser from Rob Nolan will give the lads a boost and fingers crossed the confidence against the side who are currently sitting 12th in the league.

Spartans added another point to their total on Monday, Matlock faced last Saturday’s opponents Worksop, in which they were on the receiving end of a 4-2 defeat. With 2 wins and 2 losses, Matlock are in a similar shoe with Spartans, both sitting mid-table, on equal points. Plus The Gladiators have faced Trafford, Stocksbridge and Worksop this season, the same few fixtures as Blyth but only picked one victory, over Blyth’s most recent opponents.

Matlock have not picked up any points on the road so far.

IN THE AWAY DUG OUT
Mark Atkins – Ex Scunthorpe, Blackburn, Wolves, Doncaster, Shrewsbury and Harrogate player. He has been in charge of Matlock Town since 2008.

DANGER MAN
