The final match of the 3 consecutive home ties ends with the biggest test of them all, a tricky match with play off hopeful Ilkeston. The Robins and The Green Army are rumoured to be 2 of the best footballing sides in the league and a showdown tonight is likely to reveal a cracking match-up. The away side are currently sat 4th in the table, 5 points away from leaders FC United, they will be hoping they can narrow the margin down but Spartans will be looking to narrow their own margin on the play off teams themselves.
Blyth’s last 2 games at Croft Park have seen goals flowing for the home side, managing 8 and only conceding the 1. A form which the best of sides in the league would boast.
