The draw for the semi-finals of the Sage Northumberland Senior Cup have been made and sees the Spartans drawn away to STL Northern League side Newcastle Benfield.
Managed by former Spartans player and manager Paul Baker, the tie with Newcastle Benfield could also see us come face to face with several former Spartans in the shape of Ian Graham, Mark Atkinson, Guy Bates, Kenny Boyle (pictured left), Andrew Grainger and Adam Rowntree.
The date of the proposed clash is yet to be agreed.
