Spartans bring their pre-season campaign to an end tomorrow when last year’s Northern League Division Two Champions Team Northumbria visit Croft Park for a 3pm kick off.
Manager Tommy Cassidy will be without injured defender Carl Jones following his shoulder injury in the 0-0 draw with Tonbridge Angels last Saturday whilst there will hopefully be better news for the return of winger Lee Mason. Midfielder Tom Berj should be fit after limping out of Tuesday’s friendly against Dunston UTS.
Team Northumbria head to Croft Park as they finalise preparations for their upcoming Northern League First Division campaign and open their season with a tough looking fixture away to Spennymoor Town in two weeks.
