TEAM NEWS
One last game remains of what has been a real rollercoaster of a season for both fans and players of the club. After Tuesday night’s spirited performance from the squad, they’ll be hoping to end the season on a high after a run of games without a victory. The long trip to Lincolnshire outfit Stamford will be the last game that will be played at The Daniels Stadium before they move.

Dan Maguire started on Tuesday night for the first time after picking up his foot injury against Ashington, so he will be hoping to be available and try to push for the 25 league goals level. Arron Wearmouth, Joe Kendrick and Ryan Cummings came on as subs during the tie against Newcastle’s Reserves and will be hoping their promising performances were enough to get the attention of manager Tom Wade ahead of selection for Saturday’s league finale. Spartans can finish the season between 8th and 12th, much higher where the league predicted from day one, so everybody can be proud of their efforts this season.
