ROBERT DALE – OCTOBER 2009
The award for the SpartansFans Player of the Month for October goes to Spartans talisman Rob Dale.
The month saw him lead up the Alfreton Town defence a merry dance as he scored the two goals in the game as well as dazzle the crowd with his swaggering runs and passes. He continued his fine form with a ‘Star Man’ showing in the away game at Salford City in the FA Cup, where he was one of the few Spartans players to come out of the game with any credit.
To show his importance to the way that the Spartans play, he is currently out following an operation on a long standing knee injury and the two games that he has missed has seen the Spartans lose 4-0 and 4-1 and provide little in the way of creativity.
